Dr. Simon Mylabathula, a Physician and Interventional Cardiologist, has been in the Australian public and private health system for over 27 years. He graduated from the Centenary Christian Medical College, Vellore of south India obtaining MBBS in 1991. He was subsequently awarded the Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in the United Kingdom, and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians having trained in Internal Medicine, General and Interventional Cardiology in Sydney and Newcastle.
Dr. Mylabathula is an Acute Care Cardiologist, with special interest in all aspects of Interventional Cardiology, Acute Coronary syndromes and population health. Dr. Mylabathula over the last 3 decades has actively engaged with state and federal health entities for enhancing equitable health care and cost effective models of care. He has a proven interest in patient safety and accountability in patient care working closely with regulatory agencies. He has private consulting rooms in East Maitland.
